Day by day

Detailed itinerary

Depart early from our Nairobi meeting point after breakfast. Stop first at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to marvel at the sheer, sweeping escarpments, then pause in Narok Town to stretch your legs and freshen up. Arrive at the Maasai Mara in time to check into your eco-camp and enjoy a hot lunch. In the late afternoon, head out on your introductory game drive across the rolling savannas.
Stay: Miti Mingi Eco Camp

Set out after an early breakfast for a full day of game viewing across the vast savannah grasslands of the Maasai Mara. This legendary reserve offers a world-class network of dirt tracks for close-up wildlife photography of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and massive herbivore herds. Break for a memorable picnic lunch at the Mara River hippo pools, watching hippos and crocodiles navigate the waters. Continue exploring until sunset before returning to camp.
Stay: Miti Mingi Eco Camp

Start your morning with an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village to learn about their ancient customs, beadwork, and vibrant dances (20 USD per person) before checking into your budget hotel and heading to lake Nakuru. On your way to lake nakuru have optional activities such as Boat ride and walk at the crescent Island enroute at lake naivasha.

Stay: Buraha Hotel

Embark on a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, a world-famous bird sanctuary and crucial refuge for both endangered white and black rhinos. Photograph herds of Cape buffaloes, waterbucks, and giraffes feeding along the lake shore, and drive up to Baboon Cliff for a panoramic view of the entire lake basin. Enjoy a picnic lunch before transferring to Naivasha for the evening.
Stay: Leisure Apex Resort

After breakfast, explore Hell’s Gate National Park. You can enjoy an active morning hiking and scrambling through the dramatic deep gorges, or opt to rent a bicycle to ride past grazing zebras and gazelles. Following a hot lunch, travel south via Nairobi and the busy Mombasa highway to arrive in Amboseli in time for dinner.
Stay: Nyati Safari Camp

Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park, Kenya’s premier location for viewing massive elephant herds at incredibly close range. Your morning and afternoon game drives wind past lush seasonal swamps, with the spectacular, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro providing an iconic backdrop (weather permitting). Enjoy a peaceful picnic lunch in the park and choose an optional Maasai village visit in the afternoon.
Stay: Nyati Safari Camp

Embark on an early morning game drive at 6:30 AM to watch herds of elephants wallowing in the misty marshes. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast, check out, and drive to the Namanga border post. After clearing customs, board the scheduled tourist shuttle bus to Arusha, Tanzania, where our local driver will meet and transfer you to your hotel.
Stay: Charity Hotel (Breakfast & Lunch included; Dinner is self-arranged in town)

Depart Arusha after breakfast with a packed lunch, heading straight to Tarangire National Park. Track lions, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, and rare fringe-eared oryx feeding along the banks of the Tarangire River before checking into your campsite.
Stay: Twiga Campsite

After breakfast, make a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park, nestled dramatically against the steep wall of the Great Rift Valley. Spend at least six hours searching the lush canopy and acacia forests for the park’s legendary tree-climbing lions. Observe pink flamingos feeding along the lake shore and learn about the underground springs that feed the lake before retiring to your campsite.
Stay: Twiga Campsite

Enjoy breakfast at camp, check out with packed lunches, and begin the scenic drive to Serengeti National Park. Pass through the Ngorongoro highlands, arriving at the Serengeti main gate around midday for registration. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across the iconic “endless plains” as you head to your central wilderness camp.
Stay: Seronera Campsite

Set out at dawn for a full day of game viewing across the vast Serengeti plains. Your expert guide will track the seasonal Great Wildebeest Migration paths and seek out Africa’s iconic Big Five. Cruise toward the crocodile-infested Grumeti River to spot hippos, enjoy a scenic picnic lunch in the wild, and continue your tracking runs until sunset.
Stay: Seronera Campsite

Enjoy an early breakfast before embarking on a final six-hour morning game drive inside the Serengeti, looking for cheetahs, hyenas, and rare black rhinos. Around noon, exit the park with an optional stopover at the historic Olduvai Gorge anthropological site ($35 USD per person) before driving up the highland slopes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Stay: Simba Campsite

Have an early breakfast at Simba Campsite, enjoying misty views over the crater rim. Descend 600 meters down into the volcanic caldera for an unforgettable six-hour game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a haven for over 25,000 large mammals. Enjoy your picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending the caldera walls and returning to Arusha.
Stay: Charity Hotel (Breakfast & Lunch included; Dinner is self-arranged)
