Plans sometimes change. Here is exactly how cancellations and refunds work for tours and safaris booked with Topma Tours and Safaris Ltd.

This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and applies to every booking made with Topma Tours and Safaris. The refund you receive depends on how many days before your travel date you cancel.

Your deposit
A deposit of 25% of the total cost is paid at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
It allows us to make early preparations and the necessary arrangements for your trip, such as reserving lodges, vehicles and park permits.

Cancellation charges
Refunds are based on the number of days between the day you cancel and your travel date:

| 50 to 89 days before travel | 70% refund |
| 30 to 49 days before travel | 50% refund |
| Less than 30 days before travel | Non-refundable, due to peak-season retentions |

Deductions from refunds
Refunds are subject to deductions covering hotel cancellation charges, food costs and other relevant expenses already committed for your trip.
This means the amount you receive may be lower than the percentage shown if suppliers have already charged us for your booking.

To cancel or ask about a booking, contact us by email or WhatsApp with your full name and travel dates:

We will confirm your cancellation and talk you through the next steps.

If we change or cancel your tour
We reserve the right to adjust itineraries or cancel scheduled tours if circumstances require it.
If we refuse to accept, or to continue serving, a participant, we will provide a fair refund.

Travel insurance
Travel insurance can protect you if you have to cancel unexpectedly. We strongly encourage every traveller to take out personal accident and medical insurance.
We can arrange affordable insurance options on request.
