Wake early and have breakfast before heading to the Bwindi park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. Today is the highlight of your Uganda Gorilla Safari—mountain gorilla trekking. You’ll be assigned to a specific gorilla family based on your fitness level. The trek can take between 2–6 hours, depending on the gorilla family’s location. Once found, you’ll spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural setting. Capture the moment with non-flash photography and cherish the rare opportunity that defines the essence of a Uganda Gorilla Safari.
