4 Days Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Budget Tour
This 4-day budget safari combines Kenya’s most famous wildlife destination, the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, with the scenic and wildlife-rich Lake Nakuru National Park. The tour offers excellent opportunities to see the Big Five, rhinos, flamingos, and breathtaking landscapes while staying in comfortable budget camps. Transport is provided in a 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for optimal game viewing.
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive toward Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley. You will stop at the escarpment viewpoint for about 20 minutes to enjoy panoramic views and take photos. Continue the journey through Narok town, arriving at your budget camp in time for lunch and check-in.
In the afternoon, depart for your first game drive in Masai Mara, one of Africa’s richest wildlife reserves. You will have the chance to spot lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
After an early breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game drive. This allows you to explore deeper areas of the reserve, including the Mara River, famous for dramatic wildlife encounters and migration crossings during the migration season (July–October).
Throughout the day, your guide will help you track wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and many plains animals. Enjoy lunch in the wild surrounded by nature before continuing your exploration. Return to camp in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, check out and enjoy a morning game drive as you exit Masai Mara. You will then drive toward Lake Nakuru, arriving in the afternoon. Check in at your budget camp or hotel and enjoy lunch.
Later, proceed for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its rhino sanctuary and beautiful lake views. You may see white rhinos, black rhinos, buffalo, lions, giraffes, and flamingos along the lake shore. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your memorable budget safari.
