In the afternoon, embark on a guided nature walk to acclimatize and stretch your legs in the cool mountain air. You’ll also go through a detailed gear check and trip briefing to ensure you're fully prepared for the Naromoru route climb ahead. Overnight at a cozy mountain lodge or the Naro Moru River Lodge.
After breakfast, you'll transfer to the Naromoru Park Gate for registration. Begin your hike with your guide, porter, and cook as you ascend gently through the dense rainforest of Mount Kenya. This part of the Naromoru route offers the chance to spot wildlife and unique flora. After 9 kilometers of hiking, you’ll reach Met Station in time for dinner and a night of rest.

Your summit bid starts before dawn. Depart Mackinders Camp around 2:00 AM for the final climb to Point Lenana via the Naromoru route. This exhilarating stretch takes 3–4 hours and delivers an unforgettable sunrise over the Kenyan highlands. After taking photos and soaking in the views, descend to Mackinders Camp for breakfast, then continue downhill to Met Station for dinner and your last overnight on the mountain.
After a final breakfast in the highlands, descend 9 kilometers through lush rainforest to the Naromoru gate.
