This day will have you transfer from Kigali to Ngungwe Forest National Park, Nyungwe Forest NP is located 225km or 4-5 hours drive away from Kigali. While on this journey you will encounter numerous Rwandans going about their daily activities and these will range from trade to farming their lands. Also, expect to be blown away by the amazing rolling hills of Rwanda which surely confirm to you why this country is referred to as the land of a thousand hills. On this you will have a chance to have an upclose encounter with the man’s closest wild cousin the chimpanzees as you engage in an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience in Nyungwe forest national park which is home to these humbling primates. In the afternoon you will get a chance to engage in an epic canopy walk and this will give magnificent views of this gigantic forest as you will be able to walk from an elevated platform. Day 4 will have you transfer to Volcanoes park which is home to the biggest primates on earth the giant mountain gorillas.

Gorilla Trekking Experience: After breakfast, you will set off for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park. Accompanied by expert guides, you will trek through the forest to encounter the magnificent mountain gorillas in their natural environment. You will have the privilege to observe these gentle giants for an hour, learning about their behavior and conservation efforts. Return to Kigali: After the trek, you will head back to Kigali for your departure. You will be transferred to Kigali International Airport in time for your flight.
