After an early breakfast, you will depart from Queen Elizabeth National Park and travel to Kibale National Park, which is about a 4-hour drive away. Kibale is home to one of the highest concentrations of primates in Africa, including chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, and various other species. Upon arrival at the park, you will have some time to settle in at your lodge before heading out for your afternoon chimpanzee trekking experience. The forest is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees, and you will have the chance to observe these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. As you trek through the lush forest, you may also spot other wildlife, including birds and various plant species. After the trek, you’ll return to your lodge for a well-earned rest.
